Product works.. When I recieved it the box was trashed and I was missing hooks.. Had to purchase new hooks to make it work.. I already did a review on this item and sent photos etc… Was disappointed in the packageing and having to spend more money to get parts. Probably won’t order big items like this again.. I got no reply on what I sent in with photos and am a bit disappointed over that as well.. I shouldnt of had to purchase more items after the money I had already spent on a new item..

Appears to be able to support me and my dogs (uninvited, but curious!) and even another person without a problem. Only comment is that it would have been nice if it included a connector for hammocks that are less than its astoundingly huge 15ft length! I had to go out and buy some 800lb test chain and hack saw it to size. It now works great, but sawing steel is quite the task!

I recently bought the frame to hang a jumbo hammock on. The Jumbo fits beautifully, unfortunately the assembled stand (without any hardware) does not stand centered with the hammock on a flat level area (concrete and level 
)One can definitely see this when the hammock hangs. The one arm extends weird to one side when it should be about 10 degrees inward, but cannot be shifted due to the valley where the top steel arm slides on. When I sit in it, my body centers over one of the legs rather than between the two arms/legs. We will try to fix it drilling a few holes into it and bolting it once we straighten the one side to the correct center. I can sit in it okay, but any shifting will make it tip. If I was to tell a friend I would probably advise them to go with any of the square hammock frames. The square ones look like their center of gravity is in the middle rather than out to either side. Well, I thought this design would be good – I will probably go out and get the square frame so I don’t have to worry about tipping if the bolts don’t work.

I bought the Con2our chair last year and this stand and I do love both. I read the other review and have not had the problem with the wobbling of the stand, yet. Perhaps because I have the actual Green Eggs & Hammock made chair on it?? I am not sure. My neighbor bought a hammock rope like chair & stand last year after I got my Con2our and hers can wobble. It is in the back yard on grass. She just has to be careful getting in and out. I garden and need to take many breaks due to chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia and will sit in my chair and can fall asleep. Believe me, it isn’t easy for me to be comfortable just anywhere on anything and when I fell asleep on this I was shocked. The foot & arm rest really are nice and I love mine and haven’t regretted it once. I only regret when the fall comes and I have to put everything away for the winter. I highly recommend this chair. Was going to get a hammock but didn’t have the room and am so glad I didn’t.

We had to cut our trees down that held our hammock, and the stand I ordered from Amazon was easy to assemble and easy to move, but not as good as the real trees. It squeaks when you swing and is not quite as stable, but serves the purpose!

Most Striking Stand Available! Roman Arc Cypress Stand – 7 Ply by Hatteras Hammocks
Shipped in flimsy cardboard boxes with no protection for the wood beams, several pieces arrived dented. Assembly (which required two people and took about 2 1/2 hours) was marred by misalligned holes and a poor instructon sheet. The shipment arrived in 3 boxes none of which had manifests to indicate that one should look for 3 boxes. When the first two arrived in one shipment, we travelled 170 miles to assemble it in our “home away from home” only to find out that we lacked 1/3 of the beams and all the hardware.
The Hammock Company which sells the Hatteras stand was very understanding and apologetic but I never received a response from Hatteras as to why they had such poor quality control, unprofessional packing, and antiquated shipping practices.
I would look elsewhere for a wooden stand and would personally never order a Hatteras product again.
